How do you handle data and security?
We know how important it is to protect your digital assets, particularly when dealing with sensitive data. That’s why we have had full ISO27001 accreditation since 2017 - the international standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) - which includes annual audits to ensure we’re always on top of the latest security protocols here at Buzz.
What size projects can you work on?
We take in projects of all sizes, from two weeks development to two years and beyond. All can be accommodated because we work in an agile way; that means we break down our projects into smaller chunks of work (sometimes delivered in sprints), creating a full roadmap of work, which allows us to take on projects of any size.
This methodology of working also gives us the ability to develop minimum viable products (MVPs) that can be market-tested early on, resulting in a faster return on investment. It also means we can be flexible with budget allocation, helping you break down your project to get you exactly what you need, at all the right moments. That demo your boss asked for? We’ll help you build it, so you can land that much-needed senior buy-in before moving onto full project development.

What actions do you take to make sure projects stay on track?
Following our agile methodology, we use a number of tactics to keep your project on track, from regular and open communication with your team through our project managers and developers, to how we work with our own crew on the ground.
It all starts by breaking the project down into User Stories (for individual features and functionality) that can be easily linked and tracked through Azure DevOps, with fortnightly team retrospectives and daily stand-ups to keep everyone on the same page. This not only helps us keep everything documented, but also helps us identify any blockers early on, so we can avoid delays as much as possible.
Plus, with dedicated time sheets and our commitment to transparency, our project managers can show you exactly where your project is at, anytime you need it.
How long do your developers take on a typical project?
While an MVP can typically start at two-three months, the total time for a project depends on the complexity and scope of a project and size of team assigned to it.
However, with our agile software development approach, projects can often be ongoing over years following the main build, as we help you to innovate your system and provide iterative deliverables with changing market needs.
